Motor super yachts or luxury yachts are vessels measuring 25-30 meters in length. Such vessels are often manufactured to order to realize the individual ideas and requirements of the buyer. At the same time, it should be taken into account that a reliable yacht should have a long service life and hold firmly on the water even in bad weather.
During the development of the vessel’s technical equipment, the interior and exterior design are coordinated, and modern technologies of design and assembly are incorporated. Interior finishing involves the use of natural materials: leather, wood, forged elements.
Nowadays, computer modeling is actively used in creating the design of a motor super yacht. During the ordering process, the client can equip the model with a jet ski, a platform for a vehicle, a fishing boat, etc. A special feature of the vessel may be the presence of a retractable centerboard, which facilitates passage through shallow inlets and lagoons. An additional advantage is a retractable platform that serves as a pontoon for swimming.
Such yachts are designed for extended ocean or sea crossings, so they must be functionally equipped with a comfortable galley and dining area, toilet and shower, sleeping quarters for passengers and crew, a wardrobe, etc.
Many modern shipyards manufacture super yachts, as the cost of the vessel is high, as is the builder’s fee. The client should be prepared to wait for their masterpiece for 1 to 3 years. A pre-owned vessel can be quickly purchased on the secondary market with the help of a reputable brokerage company. Before purchase, all documentation of the luxury yacht is verified, and legal, tax, and customs investigations are conducted, the survey is reviewed, and a qualified technical inspection is appointed.
